- You cause the thoughts to cease by doing absolutely nothing. By
being yourself.
- To identify with the Self is sometimes not easy. Therefore you
have to practice certain disciplines or meditations, or surrendering
yourself to God. This will make you humble and will automatically
lead to Atma-Vichara.
- You have no problems. It has been your ego all the time fooling
you, making you believe that something is wrong, and you've been
playing hide and seek, trying to find God here, there and
everywhere, when all the time God was within yourself as yourself.
- If you do find a teacher that you seem to have an affinity for,
you should stick around for a while. If you run from teacher to
teacher, you will become totally confused. Every teacher has his
place. You will be at tracted to the person you have to be with for
as long as necessary. It de pends on where your consciousness is.
- When we use the mind to stop the thoughts, the mind will not
stop the thoughts at all, because the mind wants to go on living.
Stopping the thoughts is annihilating the mind, and the mind does
not wish to be annihilated. The mind wants to live on to fill you
full of nonsense, superstitions. Therefore we do not try to stop,
the thoughts.
- The only choice you have in life is not to identify with the
body. When you do not identify with the body, you will gravitate to
where you are supposed to be.
- It makes no difference what you have done in the past, so far as
self-realization is concerned. Once you know the truth, you become
free. The truth is there is no past. There never was a past. The
universe has no foundation. There is nothing to hold it together.
Therefore, there is nothing you have done that can keep you out of
heaven.
- The power that takes care of that knows how to take care of you.
Don't you see, there isn't anything you have to do to help. In other
words, God doesn't need your help. All you have to so is to take a
deep breath and say, "Take it God. I'm all finished with it. I will
never worry again. I will never be upset over anything again.
- When something takes place in your mind or in your world, you become the observer. You become the witness. You do not react. You try to keep your mind centered in the now, in the moment.
