- Give to your fellow what he needs to accomplish what life asked
of him. Do not impose on another your idea of how he should best
live.
- When you really love someone, there's no longer an "I" or an
"other." Love is empty of all such attributes.
- Do not nourish the ideas you have built around yourself nor the
image people have of you. Be neither someone nor something, just
don't play the game. This will bring about being, constant
awareness.
- You are primal awareness. Life is only primal awarenss. Between
two thoughts or two perceptions you are. You know moments in your
life when a thought completely disappears into silence, but still
you are.
- Be knowingly silent as often as you can and you will no longer
be a prey to the desire to be this or that. You will discover in the
everyday events of life that the meaning behind the fulfillment of
the whole, for the ego is totally absent.
- What surfaces during meditation are residues of the past. These
residues are energy localized through association of ideas--energy
mobilized into fear and insecurity. Remain a witness to all this. In
being the choiceless observer, attention is motiveless, and all
conditioning subsides.
- Striving to improve or to progress only confuses us even more.
Our appearances may lead us into believing that we have reached a
state of stability, that changes are taking place, that we are
progressing and are on the threshold of grace. But in fact nothing
has changed. We have merely rearranged our furniture. We all this
activity takes place in the mind, it is a segment of imagination.
- You must realize that you are now only a heap of conventions,
habits, what society has made of you. Once all these have left you,
you realize that they were defenses and aggressions accumulated
solely to maintain the ego would simply does not exist.
- It is only through silent awareness that our physical and mental nature can change. This changes completely spontaneous. Make an effort to change we do no more than shift our attention from one level, for one thing, to another. Remain in the vicious circle. This only transfers energy from one point to another. It still leaves us oscillating between suffering a pleasure, each leading inevitably inevitably back to the other. Only living stillness, stillness without someone trying to be still, is capable of undoing the conditioning our biological, emotional and psychological nature has undergone. There is no controller, the selector, no personality making choices. Choices living the situation is given the freedom to unfold.
