Sai Baba

  1. Silence is the speech of the spiritual seeker.

  2. Teachers must be examples of Love and Truth.

  3. GOD is neither distant, nor distinct from you.

  4. The real aim of education must be to help the student discover the Divine in every being.

  5. Good company  is important, it helps to cultivate good qualities.

  6. With effort and prayer destiny can be attained. Start the effort.

  7. The heart of man, which is now allowed to lie fallow, has to be ploughed by spiritual exercises like repetition of GOD's name.

  8. Service should not be exhibitionistic; you must seek no reward, not even gratitude or thanks from the recipient.

  9. The narrow-minded who undertake any work will never be satisfied. They cannot understand the actions of those who are large hearted and broad-minded.

  10. We must control our desires.
    Don't waste money
    Don't waste time
    Don't waste food
    Don't waste energy

  11. There is only one religion, the religion of Love;
    There is only one language, the language of the Heart;
    There is only one caste, the caste of Humanity;
    There is only one law, the law of Karma;
    There is only one God, He is Omnipresent.

  12. PARENTS set bad examples uttering falsehood, scandalizing others, gambling, drinking, behaving violently, inflicting injury, becoming addicted to nightclubs, pictures and drinking parties and quarreling after arriving home past midnight. How can children, used to such low sights and sounds, learn to become bright fresh fragrant flowers of the Sanathana Garden of India.
